We tried another behaviorist with a different cat in the past and Laura was soooo much more thorough! She discussed various things we could try to help our anxious cat who was peeing outside the box and he's been doing great so far. Would definitely recommend her for your troubled kitty.

I contacted Laura while in the midst of a tense introduction of a new cat to the other residents. We were dealing with a clash of personalities and some fear of one another. We had one too rambunctious cat and three very laid back kitties, and we had hit a dead end with other introduction methods. Laura was very patient and knowledgeable with the many iterations of environmental and behavior modifications we needed to help everyone find some common ground. She was also able to help with alternative methods to help one of the fearful residents gain some confidence, when traditional playtime and/or clicker training wasn't effective. After about 3 months of tweaking routines and finding what works for everyone, we're in a really good spot. They have their moments but by and large, everyone is respectful of one another, what more can you can ask for?! I would recommend Laura to anyone that's experiencing any sort of behavioral issue with their cat(s)! I know she'll be my first call should any other issues in my house develop!

I contacted Laura after months of my newest cat (Willow), terrorizing my resident cat (Kirby). I was using the Jackson Galaxy method to introduce them, which turned out to be making things worse! Laura takes into account everything about your situation - your cat’s history, the layout of your home, resources, etc. All of this can affect the dynamic between cats. From start to finish, I worked with Laura for a little over 2 months. My cats are now coexisting and there is peace in my household again. She considers strategies from all angles. Her sessions are completely personalized to your cat’s needs. I will not hesitate to use her again if any other issues arise with my cats. She is fantastic!

I cannot recommend Laura enough. My cats were food obsessed to the point of stealing my food while I was cooking and creating an unsafe environment for them. After one session with Laura and two weeks implementing her behavior modification plan, the problem was resolved! It was like night and day. She is knowledgeable, prompt and communicative, and has a wealth of resources. And, I am not local and her virtual session worked just as well!

TRULY AMAZING. This cat lady KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING. We scheduled an in-person appointment for my cat who had been pooping outside of his litter box, as well as being aggressive towards other cats in the house. She gives you the HARD truth, and REAL action to take towards fixing the problems. As much as I want to be the best cat mom, I have to accept that I have many flaws, as a human being. And unfortunately, those bleed into how I take care of my cats. If you really care about your fur babies, and you want to put effort into helping them, then LISTEN to her advice and really try to make it work. It will. I am forever grateful to this woman for the knowledge and resources she has provided me, to not only fix some problems I was experiencing, but really help me understand what was going on with my cats, and how to help THEM. Which has given me a much stronger relationship with my closest little companions. Thank you so much for everything you do!

We made an online appointment with Laura because one of our cats was being aggressive to the other. We had ruled out any medical issues so we thought it wouldn't hurt to talk with a behaviorist. Laura gave us great information and techniques to help with mental stimulation and we've begun to implement that into our routines with our cat. We've noticed a slight decrease in aggressive episodes so we'll continue to do everything and hopefully he'll be able to be around our other cat without going after her soon.

Great experience with Laura! We have a solo found kitten coming into a house with two senior girls. He is especially spirited, even for a kitten, so we needed some extra guidance. The one in one was very helpful, but so were the behavior plan and handouts, and the follow up was so appreciated! I would definitely recommend Pawsitive Vibes to anyone having any concerns with their furry family members.

After some extremely challenging moments with my rescue cat (Qazy), I contacted Laura for a virtual session, particularly to focus on petting aggression/overstimulation and Qazy's fear of the cat carrier. Laura was so helpful, not only in identifying possible reasons for these challenges and positive interventions, but also even in how to better set up my apartment for Qazy. She identified behaviors that I had not even realized resulted from Qazy showing overstimulation. I had grown up with cats and other animals, but Laura's background and specialization helped open my eyes to Qazy's particular needs. After the session, Laura followed up with helpful resources and a tailor-made plan with homework for Qazy and me. Thank you Laura for your time and support :) I absolutely recommend Pawsitive Vibes to everyone!
